Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for suspicious activity
- Assist with vulnerability assessments and penetration testing under supervision
- Document security incidents using standardized reporting frameworks
- Participate in security awareness training and phishing simulations
- Collaborate with SOC analysts to analyze threat intelligence
- Support implementation of security controls and compliance protocols
- Conduct regular security audits and generate improvement reports
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or relevant cybersecurity certification (CompTIA Security+, CEH, etc.)
- Basic understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP)
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux)
- Eagerness to learn security tools (Splunk, Wireshark, Metasploit)
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Valid US driver's license for occasional off-site duties
