As a key member of our Security Operations Center (SOC), you'll monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents in real-time. Collaborate with global teams to implement advanced threat intelligence protocols and maintain zero-trust architectures. Your expertise will directly safeguard Fortune 500 clients and emerging startups alike.
Responsibilities
- Monitor 24/7 security infrastructure (SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR) during night shifts, analyzing alerts and initiating incident response protocols
- Conduct forensic investigations on security breaches, documenting findings and recommending remediation strategies
- Implement and maintain security controls for cloud, network, and endpoint systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop threat intelligence reports and security policies
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical infrastructure
- Stay current on emerging cyber threats and industry best practices through continuous training
- Provide after-hours escalation support for critical security incidents
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations, SOC analysis, or incident response
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification required (CISM/GCIH preferred)
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar), IDS/IPS, and EDR solutions
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and zero-trust architecture
- Experience with threat intelligence frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, STIX/TAXII)
- Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision
- Excellent written communication skills for incident reporting and documentation
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
