Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for suspicious activity
- Assist in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Document security incidents and maintain incident response logs
- Support implementation of security controls and best practices
- Participate in security awareness training for employees
- Collaborate with incident response teams during security events
- Stay updated on emerging threats and security trends
- Contribute to security policy development and maintenance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to learn technical concepts quickly
- Proficiency with Windows/Linux operating systems
- Security certifications (CompTIA Security+, CISSP) are a plus but not required
- Must pass background check and pre-employment screening
