As a Security Operations Center (SOC) Associate, you will work alongside seasoned experts to monitor, detect, and respond to cyber threats in real-time, ensuring the safety of our clients' digital assets.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Assist in the investigation of potential security breaches and incidents.
- Perform routine vulnerability assessments and patch management support.
- Document security incidents and maintain accurate logs for audit purposes.
- Conduct penetration testing simulations and assist in red team exercises.
- Collaborate with senior analysts to develop and improve security protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field is a plus).
- No prior professional experience required; we value potential and willingness to learn.
- Strong understanding of computer networks and operating systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to pass a background investigation.
