Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from SIEM tools to detect potential threats in real-time.
- Investigate suspicious network traffic, system anomalies, and unauthorized access attempts.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and assist with penetration testing activities under supervision.
- Document security incidents, incidents reports, and maintain accurate logs for compliance audits.
- Collaborate with senior analysts to respond to security incidents and mitigate risks.
- Participate in security awareness training and ensure adherence to internal security policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- Candidates with no experience are welcome; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
- Understanding of basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, OSI Model, DNS, DHCP).
- Familiarity with operating systems such as Linux and Windows Server.
- CompTIA Security+ certification is a plus but not required.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment or collaboratively in an office setting.
