Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events in real-time using SIEM platforms to identify potential threats.
- Analyze network traffic and system logs to detect anomalies and malicious activity.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity policies and procedures.
- Support incident response efforts by documenting findings and assisting senior analysts.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and basic penetration testing under supervision.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configurations across hardware and software.
- Participate in security awareness training and community building within the remote team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent military experience).
- No prior professional experience required; we teach you what you need to know.
- Fundamental knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP) is a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
