Responsibilities
- Monitor Security Alerts: Utilize SIEM tools to detect, investigate, and respond to security incidents and potential threats in real-time.
- Threat Hunting: Proactively search for hidden threats within the network to prevent breaches before they occur.
- Incident Response: Assist in the containment, eradication, and recovery of compromised systems and data.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed logs of security events, investigations, and system changes.
- Compliance Support: Ensure adherence to internal security policies and industry regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, NIST).
- Collaboration: Work closely with the SOC team and IT departments to strengthen overall security posture.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience: No prior experience required. We value potential and a strong willingness to learn.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP) and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours and respond to critical alerts outside of standard business hours.
- Equipment: Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated workspace.
