Responsibilities
- Assist in the monitoring and analysis of security alerts and events within our SIEM platform.
- Support the implementation of security patches and software updates across the organization.
- Conduct preliminary vulnerability assessments and document findings for senior analysts.
- Respond to and assist in the triage of security incidents and tickets.
- Collaborate with the IT team to ensure compliance with internal security policies and industry standards.
- Participate in regular security awareness training and drills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP) is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to think critically about potential threats.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning new security technologies.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or Network+ are highly valued but not required for this entry-level role.
