Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic and security alerts to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities in real-time.
- Assist in the configuration, management, and troubleshooting of firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
- Conduct preliminary investigations into security incidents and assist in the remediation process.
- Maintain detailed logs and documentation of security events, incidents, and daily operations.
- Participate in regular security training sessions and knowledge-sharing workshops to stay ahead of evolving threats.
- Support compliance audits by preparing necessary data, reports, and evidence.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Cybersecurity is a strong plus.
- Basic understanding of computer operating systems (Windows and Linux) is preferred.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for on-site training.
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to obtain industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Network+).
