Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and logs in real-time to detect potential cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
- Assist senior analysts in conducting incident response and forensic investigations.
- Perform basic vulnerability scans and configuration reviews of internal systems.
- Document security incidents, anomalies, and remediation steps in the SIEM database.
- Collaborate with the IT team to patch systems and improve overall network security posture.
- Participate in regular security awareness training and tabletop exercises.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Strong understanding of computer networks, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and internet protocols.
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
