Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for anomalous activity
- Investigate and document security incidents using MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Perform vulnerability scans and penetration testing on client networks
- Collaborate with incident response team during security breach scenarios
- Develop and maintain security documentation including playbooks and runbooks
- Participate in quarterly tabletop exercises and security awareness campaigns
- Assist with regulatory compliance audits (NIST, ISO 27001)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification (preferred)
- Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP) and operating systems
- Basic scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, or Bash)
- Understanding of common attack vectors and mitigation strategies
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
