Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts within the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) system for potential threats targeting equity trading platforms.
- Perform daily vulnerability scans and patch management on internal financial systems.
- Assist in the configuration and maintenance of firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
- Document security incidents and contribute to the development of incident response playbooks.
- Conduct basic security assessments on software applications and network infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, OSI Model, DNS) is highly preferred.
- Strong desire to learn and obtain industry-recognized certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Security+).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
