Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts for equity options trading platforms using SIEM tools
- Assess vulnerabilities in financial systems and recommend remediation actions
- Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure adherence to SEC and FINRA regulations
- Document security incidents and participate in incident response drills
- Conduct regular penetration testing on trading applications and APIs
- Stay current on emerging threats specific to financial markets and options trading
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
- Basic knowledge of network security principles (firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Familiarity with NIST Cybersecurity Framework
- Understanding of financial markets and equity options concepts
- Experience with security tools (Wireshark, Burp Suite, Nessus)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- CompTIA Security+ or similar certification preferred
