Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for suspicious activity
- Assist in incident response procedures and security event documentation
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing simulations
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Conduct security awareness training for employees
- Assist in compliance audits (NIST, ISO 27001) and policy development
- Participate in threat intelligence analysis and threat hunting exercises
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux)
