Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and indicators of compromise (IoC) in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Conduct preliminary analysis and triage of security events and incidents.
- Assist in the maintenance of security policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Participate in vulnerability scanning and penetration testing support activities.
- Report security anomalies and escalate issues to senior staff when necessary.
- Support compliance efforts and security audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
- Basic understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS).
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to obtain industry-recognized certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+) upon hire.
- Passion for technology and a desire to learn new security tools.
