Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk/QRadar)
- Investigate potential security incidents and document findings
- Collaborate with incident response teams during security events
- Generate daily security reports for management review
- Participate in tabletop security simulations and drills
- Assist with vulnerability scanning and patch management
- Stay updated on emerging threats via security bulletins
- Contribute to security awareness campaigns for employees
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, firewalls)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows/Linux environments
- Ability to work rotating shifts for 24/7 operations coverage
- CompTIA Security+ certification preferred (will be provided)
- Must pass background check and pre-employment screening
