Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM dashboards and analyze security alerts for potential threats
- Investigate security incidents using forensic tools and log analysis
- Assist in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing engagements
- Document security incidents and remediation procedures
- Implement security controls and hardening measures for cloud/on-premise systems
- Collaborate with incident response teams during breach scenarios
- Stay current on emerging threats via threat intelligence feeds
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related field
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification (required)
- Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS)
- Basic understanding of cloud security (AWS/Azure) principles
- Experience with Linux/Windows operating systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written communication skills for reporting
- Ability to work rotating shifts for 24/7 operations center
