Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for threat detection
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network assets
- Investigate security incidents and document forensic evidence
- Implement and maintain security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption)
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST and ISO standards
- Develop security awareness materials for employee training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- CompTIA Security+ or CEH certification (preferred)
- Familiarity with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Basic knowledge of network protocols and cloud security
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 security operations environment
