We're seeking a highly skilled professional to protect our complex equity options trading infrastructure from evolving cyber threats. This daily-pay contract role offers immediate impact in a fast-paced financial technology environment.
As a key member of our Security Operations Center, you'll design and implement robust security frameworks specifically tailored to equity options systems. You'll collaborate with quantitative analysts and traders to ensure regulatory compliance (SOX, FINRA) while maintaining zero-trust architecture principles. This position requires deep expertise in financial cryptography and real-time threat detection for high-volume trading platforms.
Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy multi-layered security controls for equity options trading systems
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on options platforms
- Monitor and respond to sophisticated cyber threats targeting financial data
- Develop security protocols for options contract lifecycle management
- Ensure compliance with SEC/NYSE cybersecurity regulations
- Lead incident response for trading system breaches
- Document security procedures and maintain audit trails
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with financial services focus
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or CISSP required
- Expertise in options trading systems and financial cryptography
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence
- Knowledge of FINRA/SEC cybersecurity regulations
- Proficiency in Python for security automation
- Strong background in Windows/Linux security hardening
- Ability to work under pressure during market volatility
