Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Document and escalate security incidents following NIST guidelines
- Perform vulnerability scans and patch management assessments
- Assist with firewall configuration and access control reviews
- Participate in tabletop incident response simulations
- Update security documentation and runbooks
- Collaborate with IT teams on security awareness training
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (degree preferred)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts in a 24/7 environment
- CompTIA Security+ or willingness to obtain within 6 months
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- US citizenship or valid work authorization required
