Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and investigate potential threats
- Analyze network traffic logs to identify anomalies and malicious activities
- Assist in incident response procedures and documentation
- Perform vulnerability scans and penetration testing under guidance
- Implement security controls for cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
- Stay updated on emerging threats and security best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification (preferred)
- Familiarity with TCP/IP networking concepts
- Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux)
- Understanding of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
