Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and analyze network traffic using SIEM tools
- Document security incidents and assist in remediation procedures
- Participate in vulnerability scanning and patch management cycles
- Support security awareness training for employees
- Assist with incident response documentation and reporting
- Conduct basic forensic investigations under guidance
- Stay updated on emerging threats and security best practices
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (degree preferred)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Fundamental knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn technical concepts quickly
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- CompTIA Security+ certification (or willingness to obtain)
