Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate potential security incidents and document findings
- Assist in implementing security controls and vulnerability patches
- Participate in penetration testing and red team exercises
- Collaborate with incident response teams during security breaches
- Maintain compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST CSF)
- Stay updated on emerging threats through threat intelligence feeds
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; cybersecurity certifications a plus
- Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
