Responsibilities
- Monitor security operations center (SOC) dashboards for threat detection and incident response
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network systems
- Analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Document security incidents and maintain compliance reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls
- Participate in red team/blue team exercises
- Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats and mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification preferred
- Basic understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP)
- Familiarity with Windows/Linux operating systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
