Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and document security incidents
- Perform vulnerability scans and penetration testing
- Develop security awareness training materials
- Collaborate on incident response procedures
- Assist with compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Stay updated on emerging cyber threats
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT/Cybersecurity or equivalent experience
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification preferred
- Basic knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS)
- Familiarity with security tools (Wireshark, Nmap)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in remote environment
