Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for suspicious activity
- Assist in investigating and documenting security incidents under guidance
- Perform vulnerability scans and security audits using industry tools
- Contribute to developing security policies and procedures
- Participate in tabletop exercises and security drills
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls
- Complete ongoing security training and certification preparation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; cybersecurity certifications a plus
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, firewalls)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
