Responsibilities
- Monitor Security Systems: Utilize SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, CrowdStrike) to monitor network traffic for anomalies and potential threats in real-time.
- Incident Support: Assist in the identification, documentation, and triage of security incidents and system breaches.
- Compliance & Audits: Support internal audits and the implementation of security compliance frameworks to ensure regulatory standards are met.
- Vulnerability Assessment: Conduct daily scans and assist in the remediation of identified system vulnerabilities.
- Security Awareness: Collaborate with the HR department to deliver security awareness training to internal employees.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- Networking Knowledge: Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, OSI Model).
- Problem Solving: Exceptional analytical thinking and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Tools: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and basic command-line interfaces (Linux/Windows).
