Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using Splunk and QRadar SIEM platforms
- Perform vulnerability assessments using Nessus and Qualys tools
- Assist in incident response procedures including documentation and containment
- Conduct routine network scans and penetration testing under supervision
- Update security documentation and maintain compliance frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls
- Participate in quarterly security awareness training initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
- Basic understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S)
- Familiarity with Windows/Linux operating systems and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends (24/7 operations)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
