Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems and analyze network traffic for threats using SIEM tools
- Respond to security incidents and document investigation processes
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on internal systems
- Assist in developing security policies and compliance documentation
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Stay updated on emerging threats and industry trends
- Participate in security awareness training for employees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification (preferred)
- Basic understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP)
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel occasionally
