Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate security incidents and coordinate response procedures
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Document security events and maintain incident response logs
- Implement firewall and endpoint security configurations
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST frameworks
- Participate in security awareness training initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification (preferred)
- Familiarity with network security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP)
- Basic understanding of cloud security (AWS/Azure fundamentals)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts in a 24/7 environment
