Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for threats
- Investigate and document security incidents with senior analyst guidance
- Perform vulnerability scans and patch management tasks
- Assist in developing security awareness training materials
- Update security documentation and incident response procedures
- Participate in penetration testing simulations and security audits
- Collaborate with IT teams on security policy implementation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (degree preferred)
- Basic understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to learn technical concepts quickly
- CompTIA Security+ certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic scripting (Python/PowerShell)
- Must pass background check and pre-employment assessment
