Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using Splunk and QRadar SIEM platforms
- Conduct vulnerability scans using Nessus and Burp Suite
- Document security incidents in accordance with NIST frameworks
- Assist with patch management and firewall rule updates
- Participate in tabletop incident response simulations
- Research emerging threats and contribute to threat intelligence reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification (or pursuing)
- Familiarity with TCP/IP networking and operating systems
- Basic scripting knowledge (Python/Bash)
- Understanding of CIA triad principles and security controls
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Authorized to work in the United States
