Responsibilities
- Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Monitor cloud environments using tools like Datadog and Prometheus
- Implement security best practices with IAM policies and VPC configurations
- Automate workflows using Python and PowerShell scripts
- Document architecture diagrams and operational procedures
- Collaborate with senior engineers on migration projects
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation (rotational schedule)
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field OR equivalent self-taught experience
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S)
- Proficiency with Linux command line and Windows Server
- Familiarity with at least one cloud provider (AWS/Azure/GCP) through personal projects
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication abilities for cross-functional collaboration
- CompTIA Cloud+ or AWS Cloud Practitioner certification (preferred)
