Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Processing: Gather, clean, and validate large volumes of data from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Reporting & Visualization: Develop compelling dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- SQL Querying: Write complex SQL queries to extract specific data sets and perform advanced data manipulation.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for business improvement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, finance, operations) to understand their data needs and deliver tailored insights.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in data workflows and recommend process improvements to enhance productivity.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data models, processes, and methodologies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL), Python (Pandas, NumPy), and Excel (Advanced formulas, PivotTables).
- Visualization Tools: Strong experience with Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Analytical Mindset: Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present findings to non-technical audiences.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry and analysis.
