Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy robust software solutions during weekend maintenance windows and sprint cycles.
- Perform code reviews and debugging to ensure code quality, security, and performance standards.
- Collaborate with the product team to translate complex requirements into technical specifications.
- Optimize application architecture and database performance to handle high-traffic loads.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers within the remote team.
- Document technical processes and maintain up-to-date system architecture diagrams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on backend or full-stack development.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go, along with experience in React or Angular.
- Strong understanding of cloud services (AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Must be available to work a consistent Weekend Shift schedule (e.g., Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Sunday).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.
