As a key member of our analytics team, you will collaborate with cross-functional departments to drive strategic decisions. You will be responsible for the full data lifecycle, from gathering and cleaning data to creating compelling visualizations that tell a story. Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Cleaning: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) large datasets from various sources, ensuring high data quality and integrity for analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical analyses and modeling to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within the data.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and develop interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau or Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Reporting: Generate accurate, timely reports for executive leadership and department heads, specifically tailored for the weekend shift review cycles.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation to improve data retrieval speed and reporting efficiency.
- Collaboration: Partner with product and engineering teams to understand data requirements and provide technical support.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably within the technology or finance sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for database querying and experience with Python or R for data manipulation.
- Visualization Tools: Strong command of Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and ensure data accuracy in high-volume environments.
- Remote Work: Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and communicate clearly in a remote work setting.
