Apex Data Systems is currently seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our growing team in Virginia. In this position, you will play a critical role in interpreting complex data sets to drive business decisions. You will work closely with the operations team to ensure data accuracy and generate actionable insights that help us maintain our market leadership in Charlotte and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Extract, clean, and transform raw data from various sources using SQL and Python.
- Design and maintain complex dashboards using Tableau or Power BI.
- Analyze business trends and performance metrics to identify opportunities for growth.
- Prepare detailed weekly reports for stakeholders, specifically tailored for weekend operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and reporting needs.
- Ensure data integrity and security standards are met across all platforms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within a corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (querying, joins, stored procedures).
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
