The Role:
As a Weekend Data Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining data integrity, generating insightful reports, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex business problems. This is a high-visibility role that directly impacts our quarterly goals.
Responsibilities
- Extract, clean, and transform large datasets using SQL and Python to support business intelligence initiatives.
- Design and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau or Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Conduct statistical analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Prepare detailed weekly and monthly reports for executive leadership, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with product and operations teams to define data requirements and data governance standards.
- Monitor data pipeline performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the weekend processing cycles.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the finance, healthcare, or technology sector.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle).
- Strong working knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or R is a strong plus.
- Ability to work a weekend shift (Saturday and Sunday) as part of a rotating schedule.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
