Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and validate data from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical analyses and modeling to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in large datasets.
- Reporting & Visualization: Develop clear, concise, and visually compelling reports and dashboards (using tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or Excel) to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and create automated alerts to monitor business performance.
- SQL Management: Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract specific data sets for analysis.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers and engineering teams to define data requirements and implement data-driven solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (strongly required), Python or R, and data visualization tools (Tableau/PowerBI).
- Tool Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, Macros) and experience with ETL processes.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision during the weekend shift.
