What You'll Do
As a Data Analyst at Apex, you will be the bridge between our data and our business strategy. You will dive deep into our datasets, identify trends, and present findings that drive decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Cleaning: Extract, clean, and transform large datasets from various sources using SQL, Python, and Excel to ensure data accuracy.
- Dashboard Creation: Build interactive and intuitive dashboards using Tableau or Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical analysis and forecasting to identify patterns, risks, and opportunities for business growth.
- Reporting: Develop comprehensive weekly and monthly reports that summarize findings and provide strategic recommendations to the management team.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with engineering and product teams to automate data collection processes and improve overall data infrastructure.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex data concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical team members and executives.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis or business intelligence roles.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL (writing complex queries), Python (Pandas, NumPy), and Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables).
- Visualization: Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present data-driven stories to diverse audiences.
- Problem Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot data issues and think critically to solve business problems.
