Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Analysis: Gather, clean, and interpret complex datasets from multiple sources to identify key business trends and anomalies.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and maintain interactive dashboards (Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker) to visualize data for non-technical stakeholders.
- SQL Proficiency: Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data efficiently from relational databases.
- Reporting: Prepare clear, concise, and executive-level reports summarizing findings and making recommendations based on data.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (marketing, finance, operations) to understand their data needs and provide technical support.
- Process Improvement: Identify gaps in current data processes and propose solutions to improve data quality and workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or similar role.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server) and Python or R.
- Visualization: Demonstrated experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Google Data Studio.
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon into business insights.
- Work Style: Self-motivated individual capable of working independently in a remote setting with strong time management skills.
