In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business decisions through data-driven strategies. You will be responsible for maintaining our data integrity, creating compelling visualizations, and forecasting trends that impact our bottom line.
Responsibilities
- Data Management: Collect, clean, and transform raw data from various sources into a usable format for analysis.
- Dashboard Creation: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Trend Analysis: Perform deep-dive statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in large datasets.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and executives to translate business requirements into data models and analytical solutions.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for data processes, methodologies, and datasets to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
- Forecasting: Build predictive models to assist in strategic planning and resource allocation.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (strong query writing skills) and experience with databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Visualization: Expert knowledge of data visualization tools, specifically Tableau or Power BI.
- Programming: Familiarity with Python or R for data manipulation and analysis is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data to non-technical audiences.
