Responsibilities
- Data Extraction & Analysis: Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Reporting & Visualization: Develop clear, concise, and compelling dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau and PowerBI to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- SQL & Database Management: Write complex SQL queries to extract data, optimize database performance, and ensure data integrity.
- Statistical Modeling: Apply statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to predict market trends and business outcomes.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, finance, operations) to understand business requirements and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements within the data analytics workflow.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker).
- Domain Knowledge: Experience in the technology or finance sector is highly preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical data into business language.
- Relocation: Willingness to relocate to San Diego, CA (Relocation package provided).
