We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our dynamic team in Charlotte, NC. The role requires availability for the Night Shift to support our 24/7 operational excellence.
In this pivotal role, you will leverage your analytical expertise to drive business decisions, optimize processes, and uncover actionable insights from complex datasets. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and visual storytelling that impacts our bottom line.
Responsibilities
- Analyze large-scale datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that influence business strategy.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or Looker for real-time monitoring.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define data requirements and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Perform rigorous data cleaning, transformation, and validation to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Generate comprehensive reports and executive summaries for leadership review.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction through data-driven insights.
- Optimize SQL queries and ETL processes to improve data retrieval speed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in Data Analysis or Business Intelligence.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and programming languages such as Python or R.
- Advanced knowledge of data visualization tools, specifically Tableau or Power BI.
- Must be available and willing to work the Night Shift schedule.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
