Responsibilities
- Data Processing & Cleaning: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources, ensuring high accuracy and consistency for nightly reporting cycles.
- Visual Analytics: Create compelling dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and Power BI to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.
- Statistical Analysis: Conduct deep-dive analysis on nightly data sets to identify anomalies, forecast trends, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
- Reporting: Develop and maintain automated nightly reports to keep stakeholders informed of critical business changes.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams in Virginia Beach and our Florida offices to define data requirements and solve complex business problems.
- Database Management: Assist in maintaining database schemas and ensuring data security protocols are followed.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (advanced queries), Python or R, and experience with data visualization tools (Tableau or PowerBI).
- Shift Availability: Must be willing and able to work the night shift (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy when handling large datasets and sensitive information.
