The Role
As a Night Shift Data Analyst, you will bridge the gap between raw data and strategic decision-making. You will own the end-to-end data lifecycle for our night operations, from cleaning and validating data to building automated dashboards that keep stakeholders informed.
Responsibilities
- Data Extraction & Cleaning: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) large datasets nightly to ensure high-quality, accurate data for reporting.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and maintain interactive visualizations in Tableau and Power BI to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends.
- SQL Query Optimization: Write complex SQL queries and stored procedures to support ad-hoc analysis and automate recurring reports.
- Statistical Analysis: Conduct deep-dive statistical analysis to identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of data pipelines, methodologies, and analysis frameworks for the night shift team.
- Collaboration: Communicate findings to the day-shift leadership team and cross-functional stakeholders via clear, concise reports.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (Advanced), Python (Pandas, NumPy), and experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
- Night Shift Availability: Must be willing and able to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote-focused environment.
