The Role:
As a Night Shift Data Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our data pipelines while identifying key trends that drive business decisions. You will act as the bridge between raw data and actionable business intelligence.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency for nightly reporting cycles.
- Develop and maintain complex SQL queries and scripts to extract meaningful insights from large datasets.
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations (using Tableau or Power BI) to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and present findings to the morning shift leadership team.
- Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement within the operational data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and reporting needs.
- Document data models, processes, and methodologies to ensure knowledge transfer.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (writing complex queries, joins, and stored procedures).
- Experience with Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Must be willing and able to work the night shift (e.g., 8:00 PM – 5:00 AM).
