Job Description
Apex Data Systems is looking for a talented Data Analyst to join our high-performing team. We are urgently filling this Night Shift position to support our 24/7 operations. We provide Relocation Assistance to help you move to the vibrant city of Austin, Texas.
In this role, you will be responsible for interpreting complex data sets to drive strategic business decisions. You will work closely with product managers and engineering teams to ensure data accuracy and generate actionable insights.
Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that impact business performance.
- Build and maintain interactive dashboards (Tableau/Power BI) to visualize data for stakeholders.
- Extract, clean, and transform raw data using SQL and Python to ensure high data quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting requirements.
- Create comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings to executive leadership.
- Monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot any issues during the night shift operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in a Night Shift environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (Querying, Joins, Stored Procedures) and Python/R.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting data findings.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a non-traditional shift schedule.
