Responsibilities
- Assist in Data Collection: Gather and clean raw data from various sources to ensure accuracy for analysis.
- Equity Market Analysis: Support the research team in analyzing equity options data and identifying emerging market trends.
- Report Generation: Create clear, concise, and visually appealing reports and dashboards to present findings to stakeholders.
- Data Visualization: Utilize tools like Tableau or PowerBI to visualize complex financial data for non-technical audiences.
- Database Maintenance: Help maintain and update our internal databases to ensure data integrity.
- Statistical Modeling: Assist in basic statistical modeling to predict market outcomes based on historical data.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with the finance and trading teams to support strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience: No prior professional experience required. Recent graduates and career changers are encouraged to apply.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and basic understanding of SQL or Python is a plus.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot patterns in large datasets.
