The Role:
As a Data Analyst at San Diego Data Dynamics, you will bridge the gap between complex data sets and actionable business insights. You will work closely with stakeholders to identify trends, report on key performance indicators (KPIs), and optimize operational efficiency. Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and interpret large datasets to identify patterns and trends that influence business decisions.
- Design and maintain complex dashboards using Tableau and Power BI to visualize key metrics for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to formulate data-driven strategies and solutions.
- Perform statistical analysis and forecasting to predict market trends and customer behavior.
- Generate regular performance reports and ad-hoc analysis to support executive decision-making.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all reporting systems and databases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis or a similar analytical role.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying databases and extracting data.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex data findings to non-technical audiences.
- Experience with Python or R for data manipulation is a strong plus.
